Meditation is a wonderful asset to have in your life, allowing you to find some peace and calm in our ever-increasingly hectic lives. The benefits of meditation are huge - you can expect to feel less stressed; sleep better; have more energy; feel more connected; improve your concentration and focus; increase your clarity of mind and experience a sharper focus on life - to name but a few.
Join my half hour, weekly drop-in class to learn tools and techniques to slow down, switch off and relax - students tell me that they now sleep better and have been able to use some of the techniques we've learnt in "real life" situations - to get them through a dental or hospital treatment, for instance, or to calm their nerves on a flight.
I am fully qualified to teach Meditation and have my own personal practice. I trained under the internationally-renowned Swami Saradananda, who has written a number of highly-acclaimed books and was herself a senior student of Swami Vishnu Devenanda.
Please note - you are welcome to sit on a chair if you find sitting on the floor a challenge.

Thursdays 10.50am-11.20am at The Greenwood Centre, School Road, Hampton Hill This is after my 9.30am Improvers Yoga class and before the 11.30am Gentle Yoga class - feel free to attend both the yoga and the meditation class and receive a discount if you do!
Fridays 10.50am-11.20am at The Long Ditton Village Hall, Ewell Road, Long Ditton This is after my 9.30am Mixed Level Yoga class - feel free to attend both yoga and meditation classes and receive a discount if you do!
- Classes are £10 a class if you pay-as-you-goor£7 a class if you block book the whole 13 week term. - If you add it to a yoga class, that you attend in the same week, then the meditation class is only £7
- Please note the last week of term is always my Charity week and all class payments go to my chosen charity.

The dates for my 13 week Autumn Term 2019THURSDAY 9.30am MEDITATION Hampton Hill classes are: - Thursday 5th September, 12th, 19th and 26th September - 3rd, 10th and 17th October; NO CLASSES 24th and 31st October as it is a 2 WEEK HALF TERM; - 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th November - 5th and 12th December 2019.

- We start promptly so please arrive in good time. - Wear comfortable clothing (I don't recommend you wear jeans or anything tight fitting around the waist, so you are free to breathe fully). - You are welcome to sit on a chair if you find sitting on the floor a challenge. - No need to bring anything - I will provide blocks and blankets. - I occasionally run a 6 week Learn to Meditate course to learn the basics of meditation so you have the knowledge, tools and techniques to develop your own home practice. I will teach you different methods, tell you a little of the history and theory and explain the many benefits of this wonderful practice.
