"Nourish and Nurture" Days Away
|
And in between.... space.
Space to breathe. Space to slow down. Space to simply be. In a world that constantly asks for more, this day is an invitation into less. Less noise. Less pace. No pressure. No expectation. You'll be home in time for the evening. But you'll feel like a different person when you get there. Calmer. Lighter. Rested. |

Welcome and opening circle - A chance to arrive properly. Put your phone away, settle in and let the week fall away a bit.
Gentle yoga, breathwork and meditation - Slow, supportive movement – nothing intense. Designed to help you feel at home in your body again, rather than just carrying it around. Lunch - A DELICIOUS homemade seasonal meal, prepared for you by chef Sarah Mooney. Good conversation if you want it, time to yourself if you would rather – there's no pressure to be anyone other than yourself. |
|
A walk in the grounds of Hatfield House - Fresh air, some quiet, the kind of slow walk you never get to take. Entry to the grounds is included in your ticket.
Sound bath - Simply lie down and do nothing. Genuinely restorative. If you fall asleep, that's fine. Tea, brownies and close - Sarah Chef's chocolate brownies have become something of a retreat institution. There's time to chat, come back to earth a little and then head home feeling human again. |
"A precious opportunity to completely disconnect from the noise and bustle from the outside world to reconnect with yourself, your body and your spirit."
|
Not fixed. Not transformed. Just... lighter.
Like something you've been carrying got put down for a few hours and you remembered what it felt like to not be holding it. Most people drive home quieter than they arrived. Not sad quiet – settled quiet. The kind where you don't need the radio on. By Monday you'll probably be back in it. Looking after everyone else, emails, to-do lists that never end, the mental load that never fully clocks off. But something will be different. |
|
You'll have had a day that was yours. You'll remember what it feels like to be looked after. And that doesn't disappear as quickly as you'd think.
Previous attendees describe leaving feeling calm, lighter, grounded, restored. One said: "Confident that everything will be okay." Another: "Ready for the week ahead." That's the thing about actually stopping. You don't realise how much you needed it until you do. |
"Give yourself the gift of stepping away from the noise and stress of life for a few hours and have some peace."
"I absolutely loved my day, I felt completely relaxed and trusting in Sarah and Reshma to lead us through the day. There was a beautiful feeling of peace and unity in the room."
"I loved all of it. The community, being with others in such an incredible shared experience."

Sarah Greenall has been teaching yoga since 2015. She created these retreats because she kept seeing the same thing in her students – people who were exhausted, stretched thin and had stopped making time for themselves. The retreats are her answer to that.
Reshma Pankhania (www.energy-alchemist.co.uk) leads the sound bath and energy work. She has a quiet, grounding presence and a knack for helping people actually switch off. |
"Just perfect. You both have the perfect synergy. The food was amazing too! Thank you"
Meet your chefSarah Mooney @sauceoflove is the retreat chef. She cooks everything from scratch, seasonally, and with a lot of care. The food is one of the things people mention most when they leave.

"A precious opportunity to completely disconnect from the noise and bustle from the outside world to reconnect with yourself, your body and your spirit."
"I'm definitely feeling more connected to myself – nervous system is calmer. Ready for the week ahead and reminding me of the things that I can do to myself to calm my nervous system."
