As the sun reaches its peak and the world bursts with energy on the Summer Solstice, it can feel like everything is moving at full speed. The days are long, the to-do lists are longer and life can feel a little too yang. Yang energy — associated with summer and the sun — is outward, expansive, vibrant and dynamic. It's full of movement, heat and light. To create harmony, we need to balance this with its counterpart: yin — the energy of stillness, softness, reflection and the moon.

I invite you to join us for a deeply nurturing Summer Solstice Yin Yoga and Sound Bath — a space to slow down, soften and reconnect. In this powerful moment of the year, when the light is brightest and life is busiest, give yourself permission to stop. To be. This is your invitation to pause.

Through gentle yin yoga, calming breathwork, meditation and the healing resonance of sound, we’ll journey inward — balancing out the external intensity with quiet, grounding stillness. You’ll leave feeling centred, rested and reconnected to what really matters. Step out of the chaos and come home to yourself, back to balance.

Woodland Wellness Walks

Following the success of our March and May Wellness Walks we are delighted to announce our next session will be on Monday 7th July in Hampton, TW12 at 10am.

​Awaken your senses, connect to nature and soothe your mind and body. At the end of the session, you can expect to feel calm, relaxed and replenished. Let this nature prescription be the perfect antidote to the busyness of our often overwhelming world.

Join Forest Bathing Guide and Psychotherapist Saida Tahir and myself Sarah Greenall, trained in Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness, on a wonderful Woodland Wellness Walk. We will guide you in mindful practices in this sensory experience in nature, drawing on our extensive knowledge and experience in positive psychology, yoga, meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. 

"The Woodland Wellness walk was a unique experience and one I recommend to anyone in this ever frantic and busy life we live. It really made you stop and think about the location of peace and serenity we were in and take time to listen, see, smell and observe all around us. I felt very soothed and relaxed after the session. We purposefully keep the group small to ensure you have the best experience, so book soon to secure your spot. Tickets are £22.50 each and are now on sale. If sold out, it is worth joining the waitlist in the event of cancellations.
BOOK JULY'S WALK
The actual session is 60-70 minutes long but please allow an hour and a half in total as there is a short walk to the starting point and we finish with tea. The meeting point will be outside the Dukes Head Passage Gate of Bushy Park on Hampton High Street, near to Hampton Pool, TW12 2ST. Free parking along the road and neighbouring roads, also on the R68 bus route (Kew to Hampton Court). Click here for a map.

"It was a truly amazing experience to be in nature and experience all our ‘senses’ which we do not use much as explained by Sarah and Saida. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to get in touch with nature and explore what is around us which we have lost touch with. It was a very relaxing, calming, and beautiful walk. I do hope another walk is arranged for the future."
GENERAL INFORMATION for all events
Please know that sound baths are NOT recommended for anyone who is pregnant. Please let us know if you have a pacemaker or wear a hearing aid if you are attending a sound bath. I will kindly ask anyone who is new to my classes to fill out a health form. 

​ABOUT SOUND BATHS
If you've never been to a Sound Bath before you're in for a treat! Nothing to do but lie down and be immersed in the sounds of crystal bowls, gongs and chimes. Their vibrations will help switch off your thinking mind and shift your brainwaves to a deeper place of calm. Sound baths have been found to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep and enhance overall well-being. Sound and energy therapist Reshma Pankhania (
the Energy Alchemist) will lead the Sound Baths. 

ABOUT YIN YOGA
This event is suitable for anyone who is happy to be lying down on a yoga mat, the Yin Yoga practice will be very gentle (ideal for beginners and experienced practitioners alike) - the poses are all lying down or seated on a mat, supported by props to make them accessible and encourage release. We hold the poses for a few minutes to allow a deep release of tension in the body. It is a quiet, contemplative practice that targets the deepest tissues of the body, quietens the mind and melts away stress. The practice allows us to slow down, listen to our bodies and connect with our inner self, cultivating a sense of stillness. Sarah Greenall will lead the Yin Yoga and any Breathwork and Meditation practices.

ABOUT FOREST BATHING
Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku in Japanese is the practice of immersing and connecting to nature. The practice started in Japan in the 1980’s in response to a national health crisis when stress-related illnesses soared. Decades of subsequent research has shown that forest bathing can help reduce stress, improve attention, boost immunity and lift mood. It goes beyond simply walking in the woods - it’s about intentionally slowing down and mindfully engaging all your senses to experience the sights, sounds, smells and textures in nature. This is a gentle, slow-paced, guided activity and so suitable for all levels of fitness.

​ABOUT YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation/relaxation that allows you to calm your mind, enter into a deep rest, reduce stress and discover an inner peacefulness. Participants usually lie down and make themselves comfortable and warm (but can remain seated), close their eyes and simply listen to my voice as I guide them to a deep state of relaxation. Yoga Nidra translates as Yogic sleep - whilst not actually asleep, practitioners are led to a place of deep rest, a place between wakefulness and sleep. No previous experience is necessary.

General Ts and Cs for all events:
- Please note that all tickets are non refundable but may be transferable (to another person or future event) if more than 48 hours' notice is provided, on a discretionary basis.
- If this event is sold out then it is worth joining the waitlist as there are sometimes cancellations. ​
- if you for any reason we have to cancel then you will be issued with a credit to rebook on a future event.
- Forest bathing is an all weather activity so please dress appropriately. We will, however, credit your booking if we have to cancel due to particularly heavy rain or high winds.
