Join us on Saturday 21st June, 2.30-5pm at St Francis de Sales Church Hall, Hampton Hill for an afternoon of Yin Yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound bath. 21st June is both the Summer Solstice and International Day of Yoga - the perfect time to pause, reflect and renew and explore our own inner radiance.
BOOK YOUR SPOT
🧘‍♀️🌞 Slow Down. Tune In. Reconnect. 🌞🧘‍♀️
Treat yourself to an afternoon of deep rest and reflection to honour your radiant self.

As the sun reaches its peak and the world bursts with energy on the Summer Solstice, it can feel like everything is moving at full speed. The days are long, the to-do lists are longer and life can feel a little too yang. Yang energy — associated with summer and the sun — is outward, expansive, vibrant and dynamic. It's full of movement, heat and light. To create harmony, we need to balance this with its counterpart: yin — the energy of stillness, softness, reflection and the moon.

I invite you to join us for a deeply nurturing Summer Solstice Yin Yoga and Sound Bath — a space to slow down, soften and reconnect. In this powerful moment of the year, when the light is brightest and life is busiest, give yourself permission to stop. To be. This is your invitation to pause.

Through gentle yin yoga, calming breathwork, meditation and the healing resonance of sound, we’ll journey inward — balancing out the external intensity with quiet, grounding stillness. You’ll leave feeling centred, rested and reconnected to what really matters. Step out of the chaos and come home to yourself, back to balance.

December Restore & Recharge:
Yin Yoga & Sound Bath, Sunday 8th Dec 2024

The last in-person event of the year. This will be a wonderful afternoon of self-care and celebration, an opportunity to slow down and rest and focus on yourself at this busy time of year. Our practice will tie in to the season of winter when the days are shorter and colder, nature seems to fall into a deep stillness and there is a strong calling to slow down, rest, stay warm and cosy and find stillness and quiet.

Followed by complimentary tea and cake and time to chat. Time to "come round" slowly from our afternoon practice before heading home.
As this is our last event before Christmas we shall also be bringing some products to sell - gorgeous homemade candles, hand wash as well as crystals and jewellery. A perfect opportunity to treat yourself or get some Christmas shopping done.

Please note this is the last of a series of 3 in-person events: 13th October, 10th November and 8th December. Each is individually priced at £35 or you can book all three for £90, if you book the first two you will then receive a £15 off discount code for the December event.

NB it is worth joining the waitlist if this is fully booked as there are sometimes cancellations.

Online Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath:
Thursday 24th October 2024, 8pm-9.15pm

BOOK YOUR PLACE
To those who don't fancy the Yin Yoga (or don't feel they can get down on a mat), you can enjoy the same restorative effects with our online, zoom offering of Yoga Nidra and Sound Bath, staying in the comfort of your own home. You can join live on the night or wait to receive the replay recording. Everyone who books will receive the recording and it will be available to replay for a week after the event so you could replay it every night to ensure a good night's sleep. The whole practice is done lying down in stillness - either on your bed or on your yoga mat. No experience needed.
Yoga Nidra is an extended, guided relaxation where you simply lie down and listen to my voice as I lead you to a place of deep restorative rest. This will be seamlessly followed by Reshma's Sound Bath where the sounds and vibrations will take you to an even deeper place of relaxation. Tickets are £22.

For this practice you will want to make yourself really comfortable and warm. Here I  have a blanket underneath me (on top of my yoga mat), a folded blanket under my head, a bolster under my knees (you could use a pillow or a rolled-up blanket or towel), an eye pillow (or any alternative covering for your eyes) and a blanket on top. You could also have a smaller rolled-up blanket or towel under your ankles. Feel free to lie on your bed - but know that you might be more likely to fall asleep! You can also stay seated in a chair.
changed Nov to Gratitude - We will continue with our October/Autumn theme of "Letting Go" as we follow nature at this time of year and are invited to release and surrender - to let go of what no longer serves us in preparation of the winter months ahead. It will be an opportunity to rest, restore and recharge, allowing you to slow down, relax and turn inwards - perfect for this time of year. The Yin Yoga and meditation practice will relax the body, calm the mind and allow you to turn inwards and the Sound Bath will transport you to a place of deep, deep relaxation. Tea and cake will be served at the end.

Autumn Restore & Recharge:
Yin Yoga & Sound Bath, Sunday 13th October 2024

AUTUMN - LETTING GO
Join Reshma and myself for a blissful afternoon of relaxation and letting go - Yin Yoga, Meditation, Sound Bath, tea and cake! The intention is that you will leave feeling restored, recharged and re-energised - a perfect practice for this time of year.

The theme will be "Letting Go" as we turn to nature and see how Autumn is a season that invites us to release and surrender - to let go of what no longer serves us. It is a time of year where it is useful to find practices that help us slow down and be grounded.
Yin Yoga has close ties with Traditional Chinese Medicine and the energy at this time of year is all about taking in what we need and letting go of what we don’t, being able to deal with change and the ability to go with the flow of what life brings. Autumn is associated with the metal element which governs the lungs and large intestines and hold the emotions of sadness and grief when blocked.

Please note this is the first of a series of 3 events: 13th October, 10th November and 8th December. Each is individually priced at £35 or you can book all three for £90, if you book the first two you will then receive a £15 off discount code for the December event.
