Meet your hosts

Sarah Greenall is an experienced yoga teacher trained in yoga, meditation and mindfulness. "I love nature and being outdoors and I firmly believe in both the transformational power of yoga and the incredible calming and grounding effect of being immersed in the natural world - present with the sounds, sights and smells all around, breathing in fresh air and wondering in awe at the beauty of the world around us. For me, nature and yoga are both doorways back to ourselves - reminders to slow down, soften and reconnect with what truly matters."

Saida Tahir is a clinical psychotherapist and has previously worked with palliative and end of life patients as well as bereavement. She now works in private practice and incorporates mindfulness based techniques together with an integrative and holistic approach to mental health. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, she is a trained forest bathing guide with a passion for the healing power of nature through the practice of guided forest bathing walks  She takes groups and individuals inviting them to slow down and reconnect, one mindful breath at a time. When she's not seeing clients or leading forest bathing walks, she can be found solo wild camping immersed in nature.

Together, we will guide you in mindful practices in this sensory experience in nature, drawing on our extensive knowledge and experience in positive psychology, yoga, meditation and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques.

Through mindful movement, sensory awareness and quiet reflection, you’ll be guided to:
🌿 Reconnect with the natural world and its rhythms
🌿 Soothe your nervous system and ease stress
🌿 Cultivate presence through breath and body awareness
🌿 Explore simple practices to ground, release and restore
🌿 Deepen your connection to yourself and your surroundings
We have led three Woodland Wellness Walks so far, in March, May and July 2025 and it has been wonderful seeing the woodland develop, grow and change through the seasons. We have led different activities and planned different themed content for each session. We very much hope you can join us soon.

BOOK 14th NOV WALK
"The Woodland Wellness walk was a unique experience and one I recommend to anyone in this ever frantic and busy life we live. It really made you stop and think about the location of peace and serenity we were in and take time to listen, see, smell and observe all around us. I felt very soothed and relaxed after the session. Thank you Sarah and Saida."

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." John Muir

BOOK 14th NOV WALK
"It was a truly amazing experience to be in nature and experience all our ‘senses’ which we do not use much as explained by Sarah and Saida. I would recommend this to anyone who would like to get in touch with nature and explore what is around us which we have lost touch with. It was a very relaxing, calming, and beautiful walk. I do hope another walk is arranged for the future."
ABOUT FOREST BATHING
Forest bathing, also known as shinrin-yoku in Japanese is the practice of immersing and connecting to nature. The practice started in Japan in the 1980’s in response to a national health crisis when stress-related illnesses soared. Decades of subsequent research has shown that forest bathing can help reduce stress, improve attention, boost immunity and lift mood. It goes beyond simply walking in the woods - it’s about intentionally slowing down and mindfully engaging all your senses to experience the sights, sounds, smells and textures in nature. This is a gentle, slow-paced, guided activity and so suitable for all levels of fitness. Forest bathing is an all weather activity so please dress appropriately.

Terms and Conditions:
- Please note that all tickets are non refundable but may be transferable (to another person or future event) if more than 48 hours' notice is provided, on a discretionary basis.
- If this event is sold out then it is worth joining the waitlist as there are sometimes cancellations.
- In the event of particularly heavy rain or high winds we will have to cancel the event and credit your booking for you to rebook another time.
"It was amazing to feel all of senses as you clearly explained we have forgot how to use them fully. At the beginning all I could hear was the noise of the ‘outside world’ but slowly and beautifully I felt the beauty of nature. I was l lost in the sound of birds the wind blowing on my face and body and feeling the ground underneath me. "
