Maybe you are juggling work, family or caring responsibilities and want to reclaim a bit of "you", a sense of calm and spaciousness in your week. Or perhaps you are newly retired and ready to invest in your wellbeing now you have a bit more time.

Many students tell me they felt intimidated by yoga before they found me, worried everyone else would know what they were doing and they would feel self-conscious. Others felt they never learnt the foundations properly, or they are returning after a long break and want to rebuild confidence. This course is designed with all of that in mind.

FAQs
What do I wear? No special yoga clothes needed, just comfortable clothes you can move and breathe easily in (no jeans or tight waists), layers and socks are good.
How many people on the course? Maximum is 11, I purposefully keep the class small so I can give you one-to-one attention as needed.
What if I can't make one or more of the dates? No problem - you will receive a follow-up email each week recapping what was covered and there is always some overlap from week to week. If you miss a class, you are welcome to join one of my regular weekly classes for free across the period of the course, to make up for it.
I am really interested in learning yoga but can't make any of the dates  - please get in touch and we can discuss your options. I welcome beginners to all my weekly general classes; or you could have a one-to-one private class to learn the basics giving you the knowledge and confidence to then join a weekly class.
What if I can't touch my toes? It doesn't matter! Bend your knees - there's always a way round it! I always offer alternatives and options to what I teach to suit and include everyone.

I have high blood pressure is that a problem? No, not at all. I kindly ask everyone to fill out a form so I am aware of any health conditions or injuries and then offer adjustments or alternatives accordingly.
What happens at the end of the course? you will have the knowledge and confidence to join one of my regular weekly yoga classes and I will continue to support your learning and growth in yoga every step of the way.
