Hi - as we get older, I am sure you would agree, we would like to maintain our vitality and independence. Well yoga can help us do just that. It works with our mind, our body and our breath keeping us both strong and flexible and it leaves us feeling revitalised, re-energised and also totally relaxed.
Perhaps you've previously been put off yoga by a large and impersonal class at a gym or the intimidating young, thin and bendy world of a yoga studio. Maybe you felt you never really learnt the basics or think you're not flexible enough. Well my classes are for you! Yoga is for everyone and you can find your place in my small and friendly classes. Let me introduce you to the transformational magic and joy of yoga.
My name is Sarah and I bring energy, enthusiasm and fun to my teaching. I teach in a warm, friendly and accessible manner and my clear and resonant voice will guide you through your practice step-by-step, providing a safe space to stretch, breathe and relax. I genuinely love sharing my yoga knowledge with you and have over 2000 hours' teaching experience.

WHY DO YOGA? Because it makes us feel good!!
As we get older, our joints get a little creakier and we can feel stiff getting up in the morning (or even just up from the sofa!). We might find we are not as supple as we used to be or our balance isn't quite what it was. Perhaps our sleep patterns have changed and we find it hard to feel truly rested. Well yoga can help! Physically, it keeps our body both supple and strong. Mentally, we learn to cope - we learn how to relax and find calm - this is SO important for our wellbeing with all the worries of the world that are on us 24/7; our health; our family; our jobs etc. Yoga helps us find happiness and keep our vitality!
My students say they have improved flexibility, feel more calm, less stressed and more relaxed, they have better posture and improved muscle tone and strength. They also report better mental wellbeing, better sleep, better focus, better balance and better breathing. That's a lot of "betters", "mores" and "improved"! Sarah Greenall is a registered Experienced Yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals with over 2200 hours' teaching experience. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance Professionals. Sarah is also an iRest® Level 1 Teacher as well as a trained Meditation, Yin Yoga and Children's Yoga teacher.
