This gentle yoga class works with classic yoga postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), occasional meditation and always a relaxation at the start and end of class. Good for your mind, body and soul.
This is a mat-based practice that is slower than the Mixed Level class, with less getting up and down from the floor. I offer lots of options enabling you to work at the level that is right for you and allowing for any issues with hips, knees or shoulders.
We always work with balance and strength as it is so important to maintain these as we age. FYI, we don't practise the regular Sun Salutations in this class, so we avoid the lunge/plank/8 limb pose/cobra/downward dog vinyasa (if you know, you know - don't worry if that didn't make sense!).
